Teletherapy Services
At Adora Bright Pediatric Therapy Services, we proudly offer teletherapy for speech and language services across Ontario. In addition to our in-person sessions, our teletherapy option allows us to assess and treat communication disorders for both children and adults, ensuring access to our expert care from the comfort of home.
What is Telepractice in Speech-Language Pathology?
- Telepractice, also known as teletherapy, uses telecommunication technology to deliver speech and language services remotely. Just like in-person therapy, teletherapy sessions are conducted by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). During these online sessions, you or your child will work on the same therapeutic targets as in traditional, face-to-face sessions. We use a secure video conferencing platform to provide high-quality, engaging, and effective intervention.
What Do I Need?
Teletherapy is designed to be simple and convenient. All you need is:
- A computer, tablet, or laptop with a webcam and microphone (many devices come with these features built-in)
- A reliable, high-speed internet connection
Our teletherapy sessions make it easier than ever to access expert support—right from home!
