Performance Studio

The Creative Expression & Performance Studio at Adora Bright is a structured creative learning program designed for children and early teens ages 4 to 16. The program supports the development of communication, confidence, emotional expression, and social interaction through music, performance, and hands-on creative activities.

Located in Richmond Hill, this program is ideal for children and teens with autism, ADHD, developmental differences, or social communication challenges who benefit from expressive learning environments and structured peer interaction. Through music exploration, art projects, storytelling, and performance activities, children develop important social and communication skills while building confidence in sharing their ideas with others. The program combines creativity with therapeutic guidance, allowing children to practise self-expression, emotional regulation, and teamwork in a supportive group environment.

The Creative Expression & Performance Studio is designed for children and early teens
ages 4–16 who enjoy music, art, storytelling, or creative activities and benefit from opportunities
to express themselves in structured group environments.

Performance practice activities help children build confidence presenting ideas, storytelling, or performing in front of others. Children practise using microphones, sharing ideas with peers, and participating in supportive group performances.

These experiences help children develop self-advocacy skills, confidence, and emotional regulation while learning how to communicate clearly in group settings. Peer feedback and encouragement help create a positive environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves.

Music Lab (Drums, Keyboard, Rhythm)

Children explore rhythm and music through instruments such as drums, keyboards, and percussion instruments. Activities often include call-and-response rhythm games, musical imitation activities, and group music experiences that encourage listening and coordination. Music activities support imitation, joint attention, and social timing, while helping children participate in shared group experiences. Through rhythm and musical play, children practise turn-taking, responding to cues, and engaging with peers in a fun and motivating environment.

Art experiences also support fine motor development and emotional expression, providing calming opportunities for self-regulation. Children practise planning projects, following steps, and sharing their creative ideas with peers.
